China's motor production has a history of 92 years from 1917 to the present. At present, the motor industry has formed a relatively complete industrial system in China. The variety, specifications, performance and output of small and medium-sized motor products can basically meet the needs of China's national economic development. Experts in the motor industry in the world predict that China will become the world's motor manufacturing base, especially small and medium motors.

After more than 30 years of reform and opening up, the development of China's electric motor industry, especially in the past 10 years, has made great progress and attracted worldwide attention. As of the end of 2013, there were 846 enterprises above designated size in China's motor manufacturing industry, with total assets of 163.9 billion yuan. In 2013, the industry's output value and sales scale exceeded 180 billion yuan, and the total profit exceeded 12 billion yuan. The development of the motor manufacturing industry is relatively stable, and the cost management and control capabilities in the industry are high and the profitability is strong.

The market concentration of my country's motor industry is low. Due to the low technical threshold for the production of small and medium-sized motors, there are nearly 2,000 domestic small and medium-sized motor companies, of which there are more than 300 companies with a certain scale, and about 50 or 60 companies have an output value of more than 100 million yuan. The market is fragmented and the concentration is not high.

In recent years, although a number of enterprises with large output scale, high product level, good quality and advanced technical equipment have emerged in the Chinese motor industry. But so far, no one has a dominant market share in the domestic market, and has not yet formed a brand with international influence.
